I don't think so. My sister handed her form in to the librarian and she still gets emails from the Age.
And why would the librarian get all the emails?

Im not sure who you can contact for more info.

The Age did charge me $12.50 for it so they definitely accepted the payment.

I was thinking of contacting them but I don't know who to phone.

EDIT:  I just went and had a look.  Perhaps here would be a good idea?

If so, should I contact the Education Resource Centre or Subscription enquiry section?

Contact the Education Resource Centre. I don't think the subscription enquiry section would help.

Thank you for your help.  I just contacted them and she (the person who took my call) said that The Age sent the e-mail on 14th April but I never received it.  It's going to be re-sent so we'll see how it goes.

Whoever went to The Age Career Expo today, what did you think?
Personally, there were way too many people there, it was VERY (hence very) cramped, was like walking through K-mart on christmas eve. Absolutely crazy!

I think you also had to compete with those people who went as a school group.  Were there a lot of students there who went as a school group?

Yer, that is true. There were alot of schools, as for me, I was apart of a school group. But still, i could say there was well over 2000 people there today.

yep it was extremely chaotic.

1. don't plan on buying any food and drink there unless you have $$$ to burn and non-functioning taste buds

2. practice 'holding it'. the female toilets on the 1st floor refused to flush

3. if your summer tan is starting to fade, head to the elly lukas tent out the front to get a free spray tan (yes one girl from my school got a full body spray tan today! - me, i just took advantage of the free manicure and back massage)

4. there didn't seem to be as many cool freebies this year :( i didn't even get to scam many free pens

5. if you're planning on attending any of the seminars try and get there early as they ended up putting security on the escalator to stop too many people heading up

Yes! the prices there are insane, i didnt end up buying lunch because of the prices. $9.50 for a sandwhich.

- Apart from that though it was alright, VCAA were giving out last years exams. They had one for every subject, ofcourse.

- You cannot walk down an isle without being bombarded with sales people trying to give you panthlets

It's indoors right? The weather is not looking so good in the next few days...

Yes, the whole thing is indoors, apart from the defence force which is undercover outside. So yes, three levels of expo inside, first and second level are stalls for each organisation and third level is sitting area and where seminars are held

I went today and in my opinion, it was more chaotic than last year.

1.  One of the reasons why I went to KFC.  :D

4.  I agree with you.  I remember last year, there were a lot of pens up for grabs.  Maybe because of the economic downturn, people are holding the pens for this year?  The only pen I got this year was from Neap.

5.  I found the seminars this year not bad in terms of how crowded it was.  I arrived 5 minutes before each seminar started and still managed to get a seat near the front.  Maybe security was slack today because I didn't see any security guards blocking the escalators.
