Methods/Further - year 11 and year 12?

Hi all,
I am in year 10 and i have absolutely deciding that i will not be doing specialist maths. I am currently doing units 1 + 2 methods,
so i have the option in doing 3+4 next year. I have deciding that i will be doing methods and further but seperate years. I am quite good at maths (one of the best in my year) although i am not sure if i should do methods in year 11 and further in year 12, because many people are telling me to do methods in year 11 and further in year 12, although to me it seems more logical to the easier maths first and then the harder one when i am smarter and more mature.
Thoughts?

Thanks

Well if you think about it, you're already doing methods 1 & 2 this year, so if you don't continue it next year would you do units 1 & 2 again, or If not, wouldn't you maybe forget it by the time you're in year 12.. There's alot of thought you need to put in, maybe you should do math methods, and if (hopefully not) you don't do well then you can always repeat it an do further in year 12 along with it because further isn't that hard.
Do you understand what I mean? Hope this helps, I'm not telling you what to do, but you should just keep these factors in mind :) good luck

Do methods 3 and 4 because its harder and you can afford to spend more time on this subject in year 11.
2010: Biology
2011: English, Mathematical methods, Further Mathematics, Accounting, Chemistry
Atar aim: Good enough
2012: Who knows?

I cant see the point in doing Methods 3/4 in Year 11 and the NOT doing Spesh 3/4 in Year 12.
Spesh is your REWARD for doing Methods in year 11.
You get massive scale ups in spesh, and rightly so because its tough, but its not AS tough if you have done Methods 3/4
