Any "great" articles to analyse?

Hello, it's me again =\

As a last minute thing, have there been any great articles you've come across, preferably in the past month or so, that is great for analysis and may be on a controversial topic?

But really, anything is fine now. I'm just going to whip up something quick after doing some memorisation =(

Big thanks.

It shouldn't really matter what type of article you get for analysis.

I say that in the sense that you have to be able to analysis all differnt sorts of articles so analysing articles which are "great" to analyse (have lots of obvious language techniques etc) isn't probably the best way of going about it.

Just get someone to choose ANY random article.

In the 2008 English Exam the type of article was quite odd. It was a  newsletter sorta thing and I think people got caught out on that. People expect an editorial or speech or something usually.

My point: Be diverse in what you analyse and don't be selective. (I know this sounds contradictory but I mean it in the sense that you really should be randomly choosing from differnt sections of a newspaper, transcripts of speeches, newsletters but within these DONT be selective)

I'm being selective here as we've been told the general issue that will be on the SAC so I want to get into the right 'pace' for such content :P

Thanks for the advice, costargh. =]
