if a box plot has equal whiskers but the median is obviously more on the left side, would it still be considered positively skewed or will it be symetric since the whiskers are the same length (also there are no outliers just in case your wondering).

still negatively skewed since the mean is less than the median

Edit: Wait its positively skewed since the median is less than te mean. sorry
