TrueTears (and Russ) appreciation thread.

Truetears is honestly one of the nicest and most intelligent blokes I have ever come across in my life. The other day, a girl on my facebook was struggling with her QM1 assigment, so he spent 15-20 minutes writing up solutions, sending it to her and making sure she understood. Someone he had never even met in his life, he just went out of his way to help. Honestly, keep up the good work mate (Y)

Also keep up the good work Russ, has inspired me to be a more level-headed thinker as well as to add some non-study periods to my dad where I socialise and relax.

Both of you, well done (Y)

Massive +1 in your honour.

No really, those two are seriously unique and selfless people.  Always willing to give a helping hand to those who need it regardless of academic ability.  Absolute legends!

Yourself and many others are equally deserving of acclaim, it's just these two have been particularly useful to myself and are just generally top people (Y)

I know TrueTears is a great guy. Why do you think I married him?

He is as cool as he is in Real Life.
About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle
