Hi,
I need help on the critical analysis assessment for Power. How do we structure a critical analysis (it's a comparative between two journal articles)? Can it be structured as any other essay; an introduction, body paragraph(s) and conclusion or is there a specific structure we must adhere to?
I'm confused because the example provided by the University of Melbourne has absolutely no structure. It is basically two paragraphs evaluating the content of two journal articles. However, in other examples, some of which are from the Go8 universities, they provide a structure.
http://www.lc.unsw.edu.au/onlib/critrev.htmlhttp://depts.washington.edu/pswrite/Handouts/CriticalAnalysisPapers.pdfI've been trying for the whole day to write my analysis but I'm finding it extremely difficult to reach the 750 word limit. At the current moment, I've written 310 words (it's basically a critique of the two articles) which includes absolutely no introduction, summary or conclusion. I'm hoping that if the structure of a critical analysis is that of the one laid out by UNSW then I will be able to reach this limit but I just can't comprehend why the University of Melbourne would give us an example of an incorrect structured analysis.

Really stressing out at the moment as it's due on Thursday.
Thank you.
