old vcaa exams

how do we approach the vcaa exams from the old study design? Should we just pick the questions and do it as a simple exercise or time ourselves?  :o

On the CEA website (http://www.cea.asn.au/vce-chemistry/examination-papers-and-reports) is a guide for the old exams, with recommended questions:

It's probably worth doing them timed, but seeing that for some of them you won't be doing the majority of the exam, perhaps just look at the time from a question by question basis.
