Is it really hard to score 35+ in methods unit 3&4? What if you are getting an average of 80% in yr 11? what will be my Methods raw study score in yr 12, with SACs and Exam averaging at 80%?

Thank You <3

You'll get a bit over 35% if you 80% everything from here, probably 37-ish depending on how hard the exams are (the harder the exam, the better your 80%) :)

Last year's exam 2 was quite difficult for me, exam 1 less so :) It really depends on how good you are at maths and particular topics :)

Defining what is "hard" is very subjective.

Vegemitepi, i was actually wondering this too. At our school the dux from 2 years ago (who got like 99 something) got 37 in methods... And our teacher keeps hinting that a D is an achievement. D: i dont think i would be happy with a D really. How achievable is a 37? What sacs scores would you need? Any idea?
Happy enough after one hell of a year.

You can easily get above a D! 3 Ds is like a 20SS, so you'd want to be way above that as you said :D

37 is more like 3 As or A SACs, B+ exam 1 and A exam 2 maybe :) Definitely achievable :)

edit: fixed a couple of typos, my bad!

You can easily get above a D! 3 Ds is like a 25SS, so you'd want to be way above that as you said :D

If it helps, I was averaging ~75% in sacs (80-85% in 1/2 methods) but it got scaled to an A by VCAA
Got B+ on exam 1 (screwed up ._.) and A+'d exam 2 :)
Got 36 raw
