I'm looking forward to a good speech or letter..

Amen. Speech or letter to the editor for the win.

They are the only ones I have ever done.. surely one is bound to be on right?

if we get essay, submission and feature article i think id kill myself aha. just because submission id have no clue, and i never have enough time to do either of the other two justice. thats why i like letters to the editor. despite being the "easy" option they're good to deliver a concise punchy response that doesnt take hours

Surely they'd accomodate for the weaker english students with at least one easy option..

Not to say only weak english students do them

I guess for a letter to an editor, to make the form clear I'd write "Dear editor," at the top.

Editorials require a headline. They need to start with "Dear Editor", and you must sign off with your name and persona at the end.

ok now I'm starting to freak out, I always just assumed they'd give us a speech/letter to the editor. I don't like essays because you have to worry about structure, whereas the other 2 are more.. flexible. damit i bet we'l get submission/editorial/feature article. I have no idea how to do any of those gah

But i reckon they'll put one easy one in, otherwise alot of people will flunk it

All an editorial is is an essay with a heading ^_^

Hence, I doubt they'll give us those two options.

I presume it'll be something along the lines of, based on seeing prior VCAA examinations,

- Speech
- Submission
- Essay

or the like.
Speech could be Letter to the Editor.
Submission could Feature Article.
Essay could be editorial.

the problem is, they've had a letter to editor and speech and essay combination for the last i duno a lot of years haha. they may be tempted to change this lol. eeeek. if im stuck without either of those tho i suppose id be doing the feature article.. just think of articles you read, and mimic the structure

i think it'll be submission, editorial, letter to the editor tho

We'd be doomed to have Report, Submission, and some other slightly homosexual form such as Essay.
