Yeah sure, you could try the website for the manufacturer of your netbook or even eBay or some other discount online retail site for a better price.

Sounds good. Bit of a stupid question, but how can I check what battery type I have ?

Also, could I buy the battery of another netbook either than the model of mine ?

Edit: I've got the hp pavilion dm1 beats edition.

I've got the same laptop!

I have a Hp Envy 15" 2012 model. It was so good until I got Windows 8 Consumer Preview. My 1GB graphics card doesn't work because the AMD Catalyst Controller doesn't work. My Windows Media Centre doesn't work, the Beats audio keeps on producing screeching noises every now and then. I can't adjust the brightness and sometimes it screws up my wifi and things like that. Battery life is alright.
