Guys i need a bit of motivation...

I'm so pumped for Chem and English, (been doing like 1-2hrs everyday for chem since the start of the yr) neutral for methods but so lazy and ceebs with spesh. How can i pump myself up for spesh? any ideas? I don't hate maths but don't really love it either, and am alright at it. It's just sooo draining and somewhat boring (certain chapters).

I think it's cause chem has a mid yr that's why i'm motivated to work hard...
I need inspiration/motivation for spesh!

Hard work pays off. If you don't think so, you're not working hard enough.

Think about getting a scaled score over 50 without doing a LOTE, good feeling :)

Aspiring doctor. Why? For the same four reasons as everybody else. Chicks, money, power and chicks.

I know exactly how you feel bro. I started the year full of motivation but right now I just ceebs with Physics and Methods! how boring is it! LOL like doing the exercises are the biggest drainer.
Anyways a useful tip is to like ban yourself from touching chem. Chem atm is my favourite subject and i do more work in it than all my subjects (minus english) joined together. To combat this, I just tell myself that If i dont do x amount of work for maths/physics, then I can't touch chem. so far the results havn't been great... but at least I'm doing like 30 mins per day rather than NOTHING.

I've found that teachers tend to play a big role in the motivation of students for that subject.
For example, my school has awesome maths teachers who have been teaching for 20+ years and really take a passion for their subject. That is why I feel more motivated to try for maths.
Our science teachers (particularly our only physics teacher) seem less interested in their subject and are also more grouchy about homework and stuff, making me feel less inclined to study for science.

That is not to say that you can't ace a subject with a bad teacher, you just feel less motivated to do so, as if the rewards are somehow less (even though they are the same).
