New Study Design?

Hey, so I've seen that there's going to be a new study design for next year's chemistry 3/4....
So, for all those people who did chemistry 3/4 from this year and before, what's the difference? Does the new one seem easier?
Do you think I'll be at a better advantage with the new study design or not?

Well the first thing is that you won't have a midyear. According to my teacher they haven't changed much, just got rid of a few things to make it shorter.

It's not any major changes, it's just alterations to accommodate for the lack of midyear exams. (there are things like, study designs now have a really fancy new cover [except for the chemistry one, but take a look at the other ones], and that for physics you do one detailed study for the whole year [from what I gather anyway, it's still the same 6 detailed studies though])

New study designs are usually released one year prior to when they're implemented.

There was a summary of changes for each subject here: http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/vceconsult/vceamend.html . And again, the changes aren't that excessive e.g. Physics wasn't changed at all in terms of content, just with the structure with the detailed studies a bit

The proposed amendments are minor and summary tables are provided for all studies, except for Accounting and Physics where the curriculum remains unchanged.
