well.....I would use pencil.. so i can erse my mistakes

VCAA repeatedly asks that students use pens for the short answer section of the exam, so just use pen.
Subjects
2012: English [37], Biology [41], Specialist Maths [33], Methods [39], Physics [37]; ATAR [94.65]

MC pencil, SA use whatever you want they won't take marks off for using something else, but you will lose marks if its some shitty fluro colours and they can't read it

They get really angry if it's in pencil but they can't take off marks if you do write in pencil. Although, if they are crabby, they're more likely to mark you harshly...

So, bottom line, write in pen!

Examiners now don't correct your paper as a hard copy.
From what I have heard VCAA scan your exam into an electronic database.

If you wrote in pencil, the writing may not be sufficiently dark enough to appear
on the scanned version with which the examiners mark with.

That, among others is one of the main reasons you should write in pen.

How do I know?
 I was talking to an  ex-VCAA marker a few days ago
and that is what she told me. 8)
