you could all of them, but cause it's a science you should do the science subjects
VCE 2013- Further Math's- aiming for 50
VCE 2014- Chemistry [aiming for 50]-Physics [aiming for 50]-English [aiming for 50]- Spesh [aiming for 50]- methods [aiming for 50]
---[aiming for 99.95]---
Uni 2015- Aiming for Biomedical Science (Scholar Program) @ Monash

Why don't you try the "Environmental Science" VCE subject, it'll give you a feel for your careers too :)

Otherwise, Methods, Bio and Chem are relevant. Spesh sin't really relevant to anything other than Actuarial Studies, a Maths Major and Engineering :) But as per the poll, if I were to pick two, I'd pick Methods and Chem :)

Why? Methods is a prereq for pretty much every course, so definitely relevant, especially if you have a change of mind relating to your career later on. Chem and Bio are sciences that'll definitely be relevant.

Not true, I would say I have to disagree here.

I would suggest the same as pi - Methods and Chem

Yes, it will get you into all, bar actuarial studies (requires specialist maths)

commerce majoring in actuarial studies at melbourne uni doesn't require spesh, strongly recommended

No, it's required

Majoring in actuarial studies
The minimum subject requirements for a major in actuarial studies are listed below. Click on a subject to view the subject listing in the University Handbook, including information about prerequisite studies and assessment. These subjects are included in the sample course plan below.

Please note: Students who commence the Bachelor of Commerce in Semester 2 must have completed VCE Specialist Maths 3 and 4 (or equivalent) in order to complete the actuarial studies major within three years. International students who commence in Semester 2 and have completed a high school qualification other than Australian Year 12 are usually unable to enrol in the actuarial studies major.

Unless you want to spend a year doing maths

Yeah, but most people start B.Comm in Semester 1, so they don't need to have done spesh (they do a catch up maths in Sem 1). Hence, not compulsory (although highly recommended) for most students.

Only those starting in Sem 2 (minority) need spesh as there is no time for them to catch up.
