ohhh very nice pick! Didn't realise that! I'm going to assuming the tute booklet is incorrect and the lecture notes are probably more correct! I'll email my tutor and get back with that :)

Tutor said: nothing will be examined on elasticity directly but knowledge of it will be required to answer questions from later tute stuff

@ Vitamin C,
Public choice theory of goverments isn't a tutorial question is it?
So therefore, I do not think it will be on the exam according to previous sources.

better get to work guys haha, you gotta nail those graphs, examiners emphasizes meticulous marking of those stupid graphs in first year economics lol

even label the most obvious details on the graphs, you can have short-hand working for your written solutions, but ingrain those graphs into your head

when you say shorthand do you mean like "the S curve" instead "Supply curve" when explaining?

Yes my tutor has confirmed the dot point fact. In fact, dot points are preferred as they are more to the point and make it easier for the examiner. TrueTears, I have heard that sometimes they reverse tute questions as in they ask you the opposite i.e. instead of tariff they might ask for export subsidy, actually I think I was reading a thread where you stated this and it was on your exam I believe. True?

Yeah, and vertical arrows and stuff to show increase and decrease without writing the actual words etc

Not sure, maybe they could, but when I did it, it was tute questions word for word. Not sure about latter years.
