With my Unit 1 VCE exams just around the corner, I've been working through lots of revision material. Although, my hand is starting to hurt and its affecting my ability to write. What can I do to overcome this?

^ other alternatives include resting said hand in a bed of ice in order to prevent burnout. Save your motivation for next year when it counts!

one of my friends used to tape a heavy eraser to the top of his pen when writing prior to year 12 - it made his hand stronger and since he got used to writing with a weight, he wrote super fast when he took it off.
never tried it myself, but he loved it...

Plus it was great for us, we never had to bother bringing a rubber :P

In all seriousness though two points

1) You'll get used to it. The only way to increase your endurance is practice. I'm sure abes can fill us in here with an analogy to his lifting

2) Try the inverse tactic to what abes' and my friend did, try writing with a lighter pen/pencil

Sounds like he was doing a DBZ sort of training... for his hands. ;)

eat a banana before your exam, that should help with preventing cramps :)
