Hang in there amilss! 66/77 is NOT a bad score by any means anyhow!

It's understandable that you are feeling quite depressed about this...because you've worked really hard and it'd be really annoying when it blows up in your face...BUT - DETERMINATION! get to unit 4, look at it in the face and say - HEY YOU! you think you got me down with that other exam huh? WELL I won't fall down like that, I'm going to get in there and whoop your ASS! TAKE THAT VCAA!

TAKE UNIT 4 CHEM ON!

It's been interesting to see everyone progressing from "OHH MY GOD THAT WAS SOOOO EASYYY!!!" to "OHHH MY GOD I MADE SO MANY MISTAKES"....

Makes me feel a little better to see that I'm not the only one who lost heaps of marks.

Technically, you are correct.

However, I must refute your claim.

In my opinion, and only my opinion, you can't find an exam very easy if you make heaps of mistakes on it.

"easy" is relative to other VCAA examinations of that subject

"heaps" of mistakes made is relative to your individual performance

so if i made 50 mistakes on 2009
but 70 mistakes on 2012

then the exam was "so easy" and i made "heaps of mistakes"

I didn't do great :(
I'm estimating about 60% from the exam, I got 88% for my SAC marks.
Out of interest, lets say I'm tracking the same for the second half of the year (obviously I'm aiming to improve ALOT) what raw score would I be look at? (based on previous years)

im the opposite, i alwasy get 80% in sacs and i think i did better in the exam, the problem is though im at a super weak cohort  where the other kids who got 75% will probably get a C+ on the exam, will my sacs scale up to A+ still? or just remain A?

Or you could find an exam very easy while you complete it - until you realise after the exam that you've accidentally made all these mistakes.

On that note, a mistake is a mistake..

Would you not agree that perhaps you would be deceiving yourself if you thought an exam was very easy but you ended up making heaps of mistakes and as a result, getting a pretty average mark.
