oops i didnt see this thread earlier!

i learnt piano for many years and stopped last year. hated it a lot but mum was a piano teacher and she teaches me and refused to let me stop till then. now i learn the clarinet from my school for free =) picked it up again this year after learning 3 years whilst in primary school ^^

 haha, I've had a bugle since I was about 4, not sure whether that's more arcane than the bagpipes

One time I wasn't looking where I was going and smashed my reed into a wall.
I have a huge mountain of old reeds under my bed from which I regularly scavange bits from to make new reeds.
Not that I can make any decent ones.

Violin for VCE, I learnt clarinet and sax until year eleven. Clearly I had to give up woodwind because strings are the best!
