Medentry is the closest one to the real umat.  Section 2 is very different though.

I would say Medentry's section 3 (especially the later exams) is the hardest of the exam types listed. Can't really comment on the other sections.

so much so that it's not indicative of the real UMAT and teaches a different type of thinking (overcomplicating patterns)?

It's hard, but not "too hard" imo, a few questions of the real UMAT are of the "hard" Medentry standard (especially in pick the middle).

The real UMAT is harder than the ACER ones, especially in sections 2 and 3 imo. ACER practice test 1 is much easier for all three sections, ACER practice test 2 has a section 1 similar to the real UMAT but is still easier for sections 2 and 3.
