Manuals are a couple of thousand cheaper. And I've driven manual for years, it's never been a chore any more so than driving usually is.

Really? Guess it's cause I'm not used to driving a manual, I have to always think about shifting gears.

You get used to it with practice :)
Also, once you get accustomed to the car, and the friction point, the 'noise' etc, you will find that shifting gears is just natural.
The hardest bit imo, is driving a manual you havent driven before. Each car is different.
I remember first time I drove a manual I stalled it all the time because the sensitivty of the accelerator was so high, as in, I was used to pressing down a little bit and having the RPM go to 3.5ish nicely. But on this one it went straight to like 5 and stalled :s

Yeah, I stalled first time in a Manual as well, was my friend's car too he wasn't too happy with me, and the thing is, I feel like I have to concentrate hard to co-ordinate everything right, clutch, shift, and all that whilst controlling the damn wheel and monitoring my speed and my RPM as well, and also, when to coast neutral.

I remember when I first drove a manual, I never coasted neutral but just pressed the clutch instead, my friend almost killed me for apparently wearing out his clutch :P

You have to watch all those things, yes, but with practice and experience it becomes second nature. Just think of race car drivers who do this at many times the speed we drive at on public roads. I'm yet to learn manual myself, but just like driving itself, initially it's daunting; thinking of keeping the car straight on the road, being aware of other drivers, cyclists, pedestrians etc, keeping a safe distance between cars - eventually it all becomes intuitive and you do it without really noticing.

Thats a little bit different though, a fair few of them are semi-automatic, no clutch pedal, and flappy paddle gearbox. And you are basically always have to have full concentration on what you are doing then. And the gear changes are so much faster, e.g. - seamless shift gearboxes.

But then you think back to older days of F1, when you have Senna driving around Monaco one handed, changing gears.

Anyways....going off-topic.

Ayrton Senna. Exactly the man on my mind as I typed the post.

My dream car? If I had to pick one, an expensive one:

And for something a little more realistic, the AE86, as already mentioned, or:
