*sigh*
The harder I study for a law unit, the worse I seem to do.
Loved torts, studied my butt off, and didn't do very well.
Hated crim, ignored it, and did pretty well.

HDs for my commerce units though! :)

Good work, though pity on the 1002. probably the second easiest exam you'll get if you managed to complete it :P

Yeah, the exam was easy. Just I was sitting right at the back and I'm blind as hell, so I couldn't see the clock. I worked through like 80% of it, then asked one of the examiners for the time and he told me I had like 15 minutes left.

Btw, what do you think the easiest exam is?

2012   BIO1011   1   BIOLOGY I   1   6   74   D
2012   CHM1031   1   CHEMISTRY IN CONTEXT I   1   6   78   D
2012   MTH1020   1   ANALYSIS OF CHANGE   1   6   88   HD
2012   PHS1080   1   FOUNDATION PHYSICS   1   6   79   D

Happy with Bio since I didn't hand in a 10% essay. Disappointed with Chem, definitely thought I had an HD there. Maths around what I expected.

PHYSICS HOLY SHIT that exam must have been massively scaled since I only even wrote answers for 2/3 of the questions, let alone correct ones.

Can't help but feel a bit bitter with those marks tantalisingly close to HDs...

FIT1010. Its open book and the questions are always similar to previous years, so I just brought the past year exam paper with solutions in, heh. FIT1008 will probably be the hardest first year.

It means that your marks aren't ready to be released or are still being finalized. In my case, it was because an assessment interview was pushed back to last week, so the mark for that hasn't been entered yet. lazy lecturers.. :p

I got a 50 for Contract A as well. When I received the SMS, I was like OMG... that 1% saved me so bad lol

sometimes it could have been near pass :P getting a 50 doesn't actually mean you just managed to get 50, sometimes if you got say 48 or 49 you might just get bumped up enough for you to pass ;)

but nonetheless, congrats!!

Thanks TT for the info. Is that because of the bell curve? Or, is it a lecturer's discretion to add extra 1 or 2 marks to award a P instead of a fail?
