From someone who has done Environmental Science (if you even call it science), Physics and Chemistry, I must say Chem is by far by favourite!

Who doesn't love Chemistry? I mean the way everything all relates back together is so satisfying and believable! Chemistry is the Greatest!!! (:

Thread is lacking a poll LOL

But Chemistry for sure (everything just clicks for me in it) whilst Biology and Physics are on the same level for me (VCE Physics is draining me though T_T)

Eh, on a serious note though, I've pretty much hated all exposure to Chem, Physics and Bio. Subsequently, it was an obvious choice to do a Science degree.

If it helps, science through university is a whole different ballgame. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Well, I'm doing Maths, Comp Sci, Physics and Economics first semester. And then probably Maths, Maths, Physics and Economics second semester, hahaha! I did want to try out Biology again, but I couldn't fit it in. I might do Engineering instead of the second Maths in second semester though.

Ugghh no comparison for me, Bio wins by a long shot! Even though chem and physics questions are easier to do imo, bio is just, I don't know, a whole lot more interesting and fun!

This is the exact same way I think. Bio is my fav, but Chem & Physics are so much easier imo because of less theory & more calculations.

I really like all three but physics probably wins. I like modern physics through. Newtonian mechanics is a little bit boring.

Physics>Chem>Bio
I've been exposed all these there branches and physics is my favourite subject/phenomena by far. Some of things are just mind blowing and interesting at the same time.

To be honest, I disliked chem and bio back in the day. Nevertheless chem and bio have some mind blowing aspects as well and they are quite entertaining(check out Martyn Poliakoff on YouTube)

I like the whole aspect of evolutionary bio. My mind was blown today when I found out why men have nipples! Don't laugh :P it's science

Personally, Biol is my absolute favourite. It's what I'm interested and it's what I'm good at.

Although, I'm painfully aware of the fact that all biologists constantly struggle with their inadequacy as they watch chemists do real science. To be honest though, physics feels the most "scientific" to me. That says more about the community of physicists rather than the discipline itself. The major advances in physics of the last century or so have owed to the rigorous pursuit of objective evidence, even in spite of what are fundamental "realities" for humans. This is an impressive approach that Chemistry and Biology seem unable to replicate.

And on psych: it only feels like a science because it desperately tries to be scientific. It's needlessly pedantic and seems to hate the idea of being a social science.
