hey,
I was wondering what study score i would be getting for biology vce.
I only know my SAC scores for unite 3, i dont know what i got for unit 3 exam nor any other sac scores.
what study score do you think ill get?

SAC marks
1 - 23.5
2- 23. 5
3- 24
4- 24
so thats 95 out of 100.
lets say i didnt do as well in my unit 3 exam, what study score do you think ill get? :)

Split the topic (don't derail a perfectly good thread please), and moved to the appropriate board :)

If you get below an A on mid year, I don't think it's really possible to get 40+ (in most cases)

Say you got B+ mid year, A+ end of year/ A

I'd say late 30s around 38 maybe

No idea what the cutoffs will be. sorry.
My sister had a similar situation A+ sacs, B+ mid year, A/A+ (i forgot) end of year and got 38.

However if you get A in the mid year, A+ end of year, generally you'd expect to see: 40-43.

You'd 100% need high A+s for 50. No doubt about it. Idk A on both exams, once again late 30s, maybe a 40 if you're lucky (just guessing).

The exams are more important than SACs. If you want 50 you'd want (generally) ~69+/75 on both exams assuming medium difficulty (this year was "easy"?).

Don't mean to sound harsh but you really have to realise a what getting a 50 really means before posting things like that, or else you will be very disappointed come results time. Less than about 1% of students get a 50 so having an A on one of GA means that a 50 is out of the question considering that an A+ is top 10%. Anything around or above 40 is exceptional. And if you get 2 High A's along with your A+ in SACS youd be looking at around 37-38

^Yeah unfortunately reality is harsh :\

some years you can drop as many as probably 15 marks across both exams (happened in '10)

3 A's is generally 34 - 38 i believe
