I remember them saying do not discuss any of the questions, either through people or internet medium.
So even if they didn't, because AN is a obligating & serene community, lets not endulge in something trivial and controversial!

Just one simple question, when can we get back our result?

Calm down guys, the English exam is in 98 days, get on it ;)

I'm not doing English, therefore this does not apply to me.

I wasn't telling you to calm down...

Haha I know I'm just messing with you  8)

What are we allowed to discuss BTW?

General thoughts: section by section feelings, how bad Medentry was in comparison, aaaaaaaaaaaand the AN-special how some of you feel you'll fail to get into med when you actually won't :P

General stuff :)

What was the actual agreement you signed to not talk about questions?

So guys, you obviously can't change anything about how you performed in the umat.

so just chill out a little bit for a couple of days (you guys seem to have done a lot of preparation) and just get back to normal year 12 studies :)

2012-2014. BSc: Neuroscience. University of Melbourne.
2015-2018. Doctor of Optometry. University of Melbourne.

Unlikely to respond to any PMs these days.

I don't think there was an agreement (like MMIs) on the day (unless there was one when signing up that most people wouldn't have read/remembered), it's just that ACER advises you not to do so.

Yes, what VegemitePi said is what happened.

For those panicking or upset, I just want to share my own UMAT experience - I completely misjudged the time and therefore when they told us to stop working on section 1, I still had about a third of the section left, so I ended up filling in the circles randomly. Section 2 I left about 5 questions unanswered; section 3 (my weakest) I left about 5 questions unanswered and at least 10 questions were totally guessed because I am reaaaaallly bad at it. I still got a high enough UMAT score to get an interview with Monash (granted, the cut-off was a bit lower back then).

What's done is done; relax, reward yourself for getting through this pain in the arse of a test, then forget about it and get back into your exam revision.

If ACER advises them not to do it then they can discuss whatever they want here, but they should be mindful of the consequences of doing so on a public forum if ACER get upset and identify them. Personally I wouldn't post complete question stems but I don't think ACER would care if you said that 'the rainforest question' was incredibly hard or whatever

Can a mod please clean up my comments that acer probably shouldn't see on page 2? My comment and in quotes, please! Thanks so much.

Bye bye undergraduate medicine  :'(

UMAD?

I was going to respond to this inconsiderate post and point out how little thought you must have put into it before posting it but then I saw that you're from Xavier. You're a lost cause, and for that, I sincerely apologise to you. May everyone have mercy on your soul.

@VegemitePi

I really hope I got lucky and did well enough for an interview SOMEWHERE but I don't know.. The statistics appear to be against me. Time will tell.

In regards to the comment about speaking to a friend, I was lying. It's complete and utter nonsense. I'd never speak to anyone about the contents of the exam after being advised specifically against doing so!

There's always JCU, which doesn't require UMAT and is a good course :)

Right... ;)

This exam was quite difficult for me to be honest,

You won't be the only one!

Now just put your time into your ATAR :)

Haha yeah JCU is definitely on my mind. I'm just worried because my predicted ATAR will be <90 as it is based solely on my two 3/4s from last year. With a strong application, an actual atar of 97+ and a strong interview I'm hoping I could sneak in. I always kind of wanted interstate for independence reasons anyway!

would rather go to xavier than hailebury you mong.
