No transcript for Tute 6 yet. I was only there for less than half of it, so my logs are incomplete.
Was tute 6 the one yesterday?

I have the logs in a word file, but I wasn't sure if it would be practical to read because I thought it was just you guys having a chat :P

So there was nothing related to Unit 4 chemistry on it? If not then I would like to take a skim through if that's ok.  :D

Here's the edited version of Phy124's logs of Tutorial 6 with most of the casual conversation removed

Thushan, you really shouldn't take it personally :( I can't believe you called yourself 'crap' (but I think it just speaks to your modesty- hence why, in my opinion, your the perfect model student). I strongly recommend you keep the tutorials scheduled for 7:30pm saturday, or at a time where students are most unproductive, such as friday night. I say this because, the atmosphere of the tutorials seem some what relaxed and casually comfortable- thus, students would be able to casually enter your skype tutorials and spend their most unproductive, unmotivated hours productively. I have to be honest, if most people are like me, the idea of social chatting, no matter how educational it is, seems uncomfortable and unnerving. Hence, my reasons for suggesting you keep your lectures between low-peak days such as friday and late saturday night.

In addition to all that I have recommended, I also suggest that you proceed along with delivering lecture notes no matter how low the turn out. For example, say if even one person, or worst case scenario, no one turns up, you continue to deliver your lecture notes anyway, and later you post the transcript up upon the forum. I recommend this because students can then easily download the lecture notes and revise them as well. Also, this will send a clear message to everyone that you are waiting for no one, and that the show will continue regardless of circumstance. This will discourage anyone from missing any more of your lectures for fear of being left behind, and further more, will perpetuate the idea that your lectures are 100% formal and serious, and therefore should not be taken lightly.

Please don't stop Thushan! Your notes are awesome and really helpful. I personally can't make saturday [tutor], but the transcripts make up for it.

And I concur with t35t, you are actually an invaluable resource :)

wow you guys are really supportive...! :D this is touching.

thing is, these tutes are run by YOU people, not me - all i'm doing is facilitating and making sure everything is going well - so like a turnout of at least 2 would be good :)

but ok I'll keep the tutes going on Saturday 730 pm. :)
