Every morning, I wake up feeling very tired and sleepy. Tell myself I will go to beg early.

Every night, don't feel sleepy until 1-2am..

Am I the only one with this problem and does anyone have any advice on how I should go about trying to get to sleep earlier?

I've been using it for a while. If I wake up at the right time, I feel refreshed. If I don't, I feel terrible. Even if I wake up feeling refreshed, that is slowly replaced by being tired due to a lack of sleep because I'm not sleepy until 1-2am and have to be up at 6-7.

I had this problem a couple of years ago. I found having a shower before bed and slowly readjusting when I went to bed by 1/2 hour each month worked. I used to go to bed at like 11:30 and now am sound asleep by 10  :). I also found the warm milk thing works too, but counting sheep does not!

Just gradually go to bed early, maybe 10 minutes earlier each night than the previous.

This allegedly works pretty well. I was writing an article on apps and I wanted to test it out, but sadly I lack an iPhone and the android equivalent was...weird.

If you feel fatigued, the best way to deal with it is to reevaluate how you structure your day and whether you're getting the right work/play balance, eating an appropriate diet. There's a lot of information, most of it pretty good, on the net if you have a look around

SAME.  It's really frustrating  :(

My brain seems to go on a little joyride from about 10-11pm, I think about the randomest shit - calculating how much sleep I'll get, thinking about school, life, how uncomfortable my pillow is, jellyfish .. ARGHHH!!! And in the mornings I just want to sleep in.
