Does anyone think it would be possible to get a 35 study score after a C+ on exam 1, and assuming i could get a mid-high A+ on end of years with rank 1 in sacs (A+ average internal marks)?

I studied so hard all year but that doesnt mean a thing if you screw up on the day :(

i got a B+ in chemistry would i still be able to get 40?
Thankfully i got an A+ in bio which lightens up my mood :D

It's possible. 42 is the highest I've heard of with a B+ in the mid year. Given, everything else was impeccable.

You're right but tbh it would take too much effort which i can put into methods and get a 45 :)

I got an A+, which I'm really really happy with because my Chemistry teacher was telling our class that there were a lot of questions that people lost marks on for not including specific keywords or phrases, like the question about the alternating monomers (you had to comment on the functional groups as well as the fact that they were alternating, which I'm sure I didn't say). Also I forgot about the weight of the filter paper in that gravimetric analysis question (hurr durr) and a range of other things, so I was sure I'd lost a lot of marks. Oh well, my hopes for getting 42-43 for Chem are raised!
