Further or Legal?

Hey all,
Sorry for the constant posts on subject selection, but I need advice because subject selection is coming up soon!
So I've already chosen all my subjects for next year (Eng, Methods, Chem, HHD and will have psych completed this year, ) except my 6th, for which I'm tossing up between Further and Legal. Both of them seem interesting and not as stressing as methods and chem, and I want to to one of them because Further kind of complements Methods while Legal kinda complements English. Oh, and I haven't done 1/2 for either of them

Just a note that I'm doing either of them just for the sake of enjoyment/filling up my 6th subject/having a less intense subject than Methods/Chem, not for prereqs or to aid in a uni course.

So which one should I do guys? What are the pros/cons of each of them and how much workload/time do they take up? Which one's got more of a chance to score well in in terms of the amount of effort needed, etc? Does it matter that I haven't done 1/2?

Any advice is better than no advice
Thanks in advance! :)

I would say it depends on your interest.
If you enjoy doing maths more, then choose further.
However, if you are not really love maths (maths isn't that good), then better don't choose further.
Legal will be better if you are good in english or interested in legal stuff.
Anyway, i'll advice u to choose further if you are not thinking to do law in uni.

Legal Studies isn't that easy or hard, you just have to remember and understand a lot of information. You don't need to have done Units 1 and 2 to succeed in Year 12 Legal Studies. It is not like maths, where they can really trick you. If you know your stuff inside-and-out, then you'll go a long way to doing well in Legal Studies. There isn't any scaling with Legal Studies (going off previous years). Anything above 40 raw stays the same; if you get below 40 raw, then it scales down 1. To answer your question, it really comes down to you - if you like the subject, then do it. Because the more you enjoy a subject, that generally correlates to better results. Don't be deterred by the scaling of a subject either.

What I said a few months back. Biggest con of Legal Studies is it can be quite dry/boring at times. Content-wise, it's not too difficult.

Anyway, i'll advice u to choose further if you are not thinking to do law in uni.

What? Not everyone does VCE Legal Studies with the intention of doing Law at university.

Specialist maths complements methods. Further is just that other weird box plotting statistical maths which is the odd one out.
If you enjoy reading, then definitely do legal. If you hate reading, then probably further maths.

Do whichever one you enjoy more, if you're the reading and memorising kind of person, go for legal, if you're the maths kind of person, go for Further!
