it makes people who are already feeling shit about their marks feel 1000 times worse, when in reality, if you did your best you should be proud!!!:)

Thankyou. My point exactly.

Don't worry about what other people think.
A B+ is still absolutely amazing
You and pretty much everyone else should be really happy.
Yeah if you're someone who put no effort in, didn't study, just rocked up on the day and did they exam - then you should be upset [even though you really have no reason to be because you'd deserve it] because you could have achieved so much more if you had tried.
But if you did put in the work, be proud of what you have done, whether you got a D or an A :)
Remember we still have end of years!
So at least we know how we're going and what is/isn't working so we have a second chance whereas people without midyears don't have that advantage.
BE HAPPY EVERYONE :D :D :D

Glad the tone is happier now! But yeah, if you're kicking yourself about your score, then show yourself that you've got grit and go smash Unit 4 chem. If you are really happy with your score, show yourself that you're not cocky and work hard to smash Unit 4 chem.
Always nice having you on this forum :D really supportive.

Then start on those goddamned trials.

And you seem like a smart cookie. Try Exam 3 out of my book some time :P

Try to do only a few trials a week for now. They hold more value the closer you get to exam time, when you can do a couple a day or whatever.

I got A+ in Chem as my result but got my SOM and got 67.5, so the lowest mark possible for A+, If i can get a mid range A+ (equivalent of maybe 71 on the mid year) what would my study score be? Is it possible to get a RAW 42/43 with a mid A+ for end of year? My SAC's aren't amazing but in a very strong cohort so should still be A+ SAC's.

Wrong thread but I also got A+ for physics, 85/90, I was really hoping for a 50 and put lots of effort in but know that's not achievable anymore, if i go really well end of year either full mark or drop 1 maybe 2 marks is it possible to get a RAW 47? My SAC's should be 200/200 or close to it unless my exam scales them down.

Cheers

To my knowledge your goals are very much achievable. I would have said you would be on track for a 42-44 ( depending on your RANK in sacs)

Definately possible for physics.

What sort of raw study score range is plausible for a 71/75 (142/150)?

Obviously depending on exam 2 mark, be it the same or higher...

i think 50 would still be possible, although highly unlikely (would need to full mark a hard exam). with a similar score i think you're looking at ~46 ish

What study score would a low A+ on Exam 1 and full marks on Exam 2 net? Murphy's Law and all that (in regards to Unit 3 which I don't have the guts to get a statement for).

I got a 70.5/75, what would I need on the next exam for a 46-48?
