I'll be honest, even though I know the truth is sometimes not said around here.

This question is posed quite a fair bit, if I get a C or a C+ for U3 and end up getting an A+ for U4, what will I get...etc.

The truth is - it's very unlikely that this happens. I've known a lot of people, both on this forum and as good friends of mine, who have gotten C+ and said they will get an A+ at the end of the year, well guess what, it doesn't usually happen. If I were in your shoes, I would focus on doing as well as I can rather than think about hitting A+'s.

Though yes, you could get a 35 if you do well on the end of years.

"The truth is sometimes not said around here"? So it means there are lots of lies?  :'(  :'(  :'(

Its pretty hard to get from C+ to A+ in the exam based on probability given you didnt get A+ the first time. But if you can smash end-of-year exam to get A+, 35 is possible. GOOD LUCK!!!

How is it unlikely though? Maybe they were other factors that affected her study score maybe she was sick, didn't study hard enough, etc. I think if you 'Apply Yourself' and give it your absolute best getting an A+ is not impossible, it's perfectly possible, you just have to evaluate and analyse the reasons why you didn't do as well as you hoped, make a list of those things and try not to repeat them again.

You misunderstand, it's not that a lot of lies are said, it just means the truth is not said. If I don't tell the truth, it doesn't mean I am lying, because I could simply not be talking.

It's pretty unlikely, considering that it's a massive jump, like I'd be surprised if you could find anyone that would have made the C+ to A+ jump, I've heard of B+ to A+, but nothing more than that. You're right, of course - there are other factors as well, but in that case - Derived Examination Score.

What Paul said is correct. Unless there was an actual disastrous incident that happened during unit 3, it is very hard to jump that far in terms of marks within a couple of months.

This is not to put anyone down for trying, in fact if I were you I would say "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED", but the reality of the situation is that there is quite a big difference in getting C+ and A+.

Good Luck with it though. You would certainly deserve a decent mark if you got A+ at the end of the year but don't put your hopes too high and just try your best
