Hey there guys, so my school has been coming up to all the year 10s to chat about their subject selections, and ill give you the background info before i tell you the situation
my general knowledge; one of if not the highest in the school (and its a smart school), i do alot of trivia and things and win them all HAHAS, and also alot of knowledge about economics/politics/geography (father was in investment banking, and ive grown up watching bloomberg),
english; really good, vocabulary x498257428
maths; i am good at it, however i havent been trying at school and my results fluctuate from getting the highest score in the cohort by 10%, to getting 20%'s (they are hard tests/exams though LMAO) anyway, its basically because i havent been trying, and the teachers think that too,
ANYWAY
my subject selections were - 3/4 psych, 1/2 methods, gma, chem, eco, and eng. lang
the principal talked to me today and said that i can stick with this if i really want, but instead of gma, he thinks i should do geography 3/4 and legal 3/4(drop psych), and then if i do well in methods (average a's) i can do spesh methods eng. lang and chem in year 12, if not, then i can pick up another 3/4 in year 12 (probably gonna end up being eco),
my atar aim is high (99+) because without a scholarship or stipend ill end up with a hecs debt, and tbh i cbf with it LOL
anyway what do you think about
a) doing 3/4 geo 3/4 legal 1/2 methods 1/2 eng.lang 1/2chem 1/2 eco >>>>>>>> 3/4 methods 3/4 spesh 3/4 eng. lang.3/4 chem
b) spesh without gma? should i just do gma next year with only 1 3/4 and tough it out?
c)any other ideas? note; i cant do more than 2 3/4s next year, school policy,
sorry if this post is a mess but my brains pretty fried at the moment !
cheers guys !
