so i cought a horrible virus, missed out on school for 2 days last week and a day this week - couldn't even do any homework at home and I feel so baddddd! i know how costly missing out on school in year twelve can be. Not only have i been sick, but a parent recently had a brain tumor and i've had to cope with that too. I feel horrible at the moment - advice and motivation for the next ten weeks really needed. On top of that i have the worst further maths teacher and i literally have to explain everything to myself - because i can't afford tutoring every week.

Advice please?

I feel so sorry for you  :(  :(  :(
How are you now? Dont worry too much because it cant help you to solve probs.
If your maths teacher is bad, just study by yourself. Reading textbook, doing exercises and prac questions from other sources like Neap, checkpoints, etc,... I know how you feel because I dont like the way my maths teacher teaches as well, so when I go to maths class, I almost ignore what he writes on the board and just do homework instead.

If you cant afford tutoring, its fine. The most important is your self-motivation. Personally, I dont like going to tutoring because it takes lots of time to travel and they dont really help me much though. If you dont understand anything, ask your teacher at lunchtime, send email or try to see them for helping.

Hope you feel better soon!
