I always used to mess around with the glitches and cheats on my brother's pokemon red + gold versions .  I think I tried to catch Missingo or something like that on red version. In gold would catch the legendaries and then replicate them at that daycare/breeding centre in Goldenrod city (I can't quite remember how the cheat worked but it involved using the PC system there and pressing buttons/switching off the gameboy at the right time) I'm pretty sure that's how I ended up beating the elite four XD
I eventually screwed up the memory in the gold version by trying out another glitch. I honestly can't remember what it was now but I can't even save a game anymore and I haven't played pokemon since that day :P

So there you go; now you know how my childhood was spent: as a closet pokenerd...
OMG YES! I had so many Celebis.

OMG how did you get Celebi?

My Dad took us to an event where you had to trade a pokemon for the Celebi to appear. Funnily, I didn't have the pokemon so I'm frantically trying to catch it in the line HAHA. And then yeah, everyone I knew had it because of the duplicate cheat. Same for Mew, I got him through the duplicate grapevine.

I used to be really misogynistic as a child and think that if I had males in my team they would be stronger haha

If you have never played Pokemon (either with the toys (LOL) or the game) nor watched it you're missing out!
