Negotiation

Can anyone please run me through the steps involved in the negotiating process?
The steps we were taught were:
  • Preparation
  • Opening
  • Bargaining
  • Closing
  • Implementation

I'd just like a brief description of what occurs at each step, if anyone can help out.
Thanks :D

You don't need to know that level of detail for it. Trust.

Isn't it sort of common sense anyway?

I mean...the preparation stage...I wonder what you would do? Prepare maybe?

Opening stage...open your negotiations?

etc.
