Would anyone else love to own the possession of a historical figure, or am I just a weirdo?

ie. work desk, pen, watch maybe?

I just think it would be awesome..

Wouldn't mind owning some of the original equipment that the famous early scientists used and devised

I want the spear of Longinus just because it was said to be used to pierce the side of jesus Christ after his crucifixion
If this is true I will use it to try and clone my own Jesus.

I wonder how one would go about obtaining the possession of a historical figure.. Most things would be in museums and they wouldn't sell it.

That's because most historical artefacts belong in a museum

Being able to read an author's original draft/manuscript would be totally awesome.
