Where to get notes bounded?

just finished typing up my set of notes and wondering where i can get them bounded
also is there a specific type of spine that has to be used to bind the notes? i mean can you have the spiral (wire) sort of spine? or does it have to be bounded like a textbook?

I can't really remember about the spine, but make sure you're notes aren't perforated. The easiest place to get them bound however is probably just officeworks.

is that the exercise books with the really tiny holes on the side to make it easy to tear?

would i print off the notes at home and then bring it to office works and get them bounded? or do they do the printing?

Yeah you can just go to Officeworks to bind your notes.. or print them out and then staple them and then duct tape them over on the sides if you're feeling a bit 'cheap'.
I've also found this website in regards on the rules of binding notes for methods: Correct ways on how to bind notes in Methods
*Make note that this is from 2008 but the same study design I think..

I don't think you can take spiral-bound books into the exam, because you can tear off pages and potentially hand something to someone else. I believe Officeworks does binding that would be approved by VCAA for your exam. :)

I spend way too much time at Officeworks getting stuff bound and yeah, they do thermal binding and other VCAA safe methods

Yeah that's what the perforated books are.
And you can take your notes to officeworks to bind, or they can print and bind it for you.

thanks for the replies everyone!

quick question though, does it take long for them to bind including the time they print the notes as well (id assume youd just bring it on a usb or something?)

Binding requires very little time (under a minute).

Printing would depend on the amount of pages, but it's quite quick too.

I'd be quite surprised if you were there for any more than 10 minutes. (Not incl. waiting in line - I advise not going the day before the exam as chances are students from all the surrounding schools will be doing the same)
