Guys!

So, I did cancel the weekly tutes earlier yes, but I just had an idea. One MASSIVE tute on Skype JUST before the Chem exam. Go through and revise the whole chem course. During your swot vac. I will bombard questions on you. It will be big. Huge. Awesome. Vibrant.

Who's in?

If you're in - we need to set a date. Will be some time in early November.

I'm in. Swotvac refers to the week before the start of exam period, correct? Or does the term 'swotvac' encompass the whole of exam period too? Chemistry exam is on Tuesday 13th November, there's the two weekends (Saturday?) during the exam periods too if you wanted it really close to the actual exam.

Whatever day is picked though, I'd probably be fine with it, I'd imagine we'd get more people if it wasn't the day before one of their other exams though.

I'm not too incredibly sure but I think SWOTVAC refers to is the week before the start of the exam period :)

Correct, SWOTVAC is the week of revising (or cramming in uni) which takes place the week before the exam period begins.

I'm not willing to put forward a definitive acronym or derivation of the word considering so many are out there, though :P

and...ah...beaten   :-X

Swotting is slang for studying. Vac stands for vacation. So, literally - study vacation.

Out of curiosity, Does everyone get the week before exams off?

EDIT: I will be very happy to attend! I learnt quite a number of things during the tutes that I wasn't previously aware of. :)
