If you want to do Cosi, I think your answer is there.

I'm also stuck! I think if you know Cosi really well , you're confident in writing on more difficult essay topics and and you can talk about the structure of a play-within-a-play then you can do a good job with Cosi. Just make sure you look at all areas including the importance of the time/society in which the play is set rather than only talking about the obvious transformation of characters..

If you feel most comfortable with Cosi, then go for it. OTW is one of my favourite films and I was pretty rapt to be able to do it for English this year, makes it feel much more comfortable and I actually enjoy writing the essay, so that's why I'm choosing it over my other text, The Reluctant Fundamentalist.

Haha yes, THAT thing. It wasn't too bad, but that's cause I got a prompt I had some good ideas for on the SAC. :P

Apart from that, I wouldn't mind not reading it or writing about it again.

Reitierating what others have said; if you're comfortable with Cosi then write on it! If you know that you can produce decent essays then there is nothing wrong with writing one on the exam :)
Keep in mind though that assessors won't mark anything lighter because it is a seemingly complicated text in comparison to others. All essays are marked fairly, and if you can produce a higher quality essay for On The Waterfront, then I would cosider writing on that, however that depends on your confidence with Cosi!
If you can produce equally complicated essays on both then, on the day, it's just up to which prompts will suit your concepts. Be prepared for both and then choose during the exam (that's what I'll be doing)

Regardless of what your teacher thinks, if you find Cosi easier to write about, you should do it.

My teacher says OTW is so much easier but I am better at Cosi so I'm doing that instead. Follow your strengths.
