Pet peeve of mine! Hate it when people divide by a variable!

Hahah, as if it's a pet peeve of yours? I love it, I can make Year 8-9 maths students wonder how I managed to get stuff like 1 = 2 :P

You should find a new tutor asap! I know what its like to have that kind of tutor.. My physics tutor only cared about money and whenever I asked questions he would answer them wrongly (hence I would have learnt something incorrect), only to later find out they were wrong. And then he just manipulates answers to fit the given answers etc.

No point spending time with a bad tutor.

Speaking of tutors who don't care about money and are just all around awesome. I had a really good tutor for chem in unit 3, John Wong, absolute beast and we finished the course 2 months before exams.
But straight after we finished the course he informed me that I should probably find another tutor to replace him for unit 4, as he felt like he couldn't teach it to his best ability. Top bloke, didn't waste my time or money, main reason I went from failing Yr11 Chemistry to doing good in unit 3 Chemistry. Unit 4 just isn't the same without him :(

You had John Wong as your tutor? You were one lucky guy! The guy is in my year level at uni, such a legend!

Yeah only for unit 3 though. And although it was strictly Chemistry tuition if I had problems with any of my other subjects he would help me. Idk I feel like he pretty much carried me through the whole of unit 3 LOL my marks have deteriorated since .. He would always make the subject seem easy and give me confidence and motivation and just ugh! LOL vce is so stressful now

The funny thing is it might not even be the same John Wong, considering that's an extremely common name  :P
