Lol not a shit hole suburb at all. I'm telling you though if someone walks barefoot they are at serious risk of getting broken glass in their foot, it's honestly everywhere.

Is there some sort of outrage about bare-footedness now? There aren't used needles or pieces of broken glass just lying in the middle of footpaths what is the big deal?

You mean your side of town doesn't have those?

Shoes are fairly shit though and we're meant to walk barefoot. Apparently they do more harm than good....

I know someone who went to uni years ago and had a professor who went barefoot.

I wouldn't say they do more harm than good, but what's so bad about people being barefoot...?

What's so bad about this?

There are things I hate looking at too, like the Menzies Building, but I get over it? :P

I reckon people should be allowed to go without shoes if they so please, just don't sue the uni when they walk over something sharp!

I think uni students should wear shoes. Show some very minimal form of professionalism please.

It's really not that hard to quantify..., but I believe that being raped once is not as bad as being raped five times, even if the one rape was by a gang of people.

Back in my grandparent's days everyone wore shirts to uni, tucked their shirt in and wore black shoes, a large majority would even wear a tie!

I believe a good argument to be made for going to Uni barefoot is simply because of the fact of:
YOLO.

I wouldn't mind that actually, although it's probably not applicable these days given the greater variety of careers that don't require that "professional look".
