In dire need of help

Hello,

I'm really lost at the moment as to what and how I should be revising for this subject, particularly in terms of section 2 and 3. Section 2 is manageable when analyzing formal texts such as speeches or written texts but when it comes to spoken, informal, conversational discourse I'm completely lost. In terms of section 3, I'm in dire need of some recent media examples of language use. The examples I have been using so far date back to 2009 which is clearly not recent. Advice and help need ):

I can't say much for section 2, because in my year I never had to write one (for SACs or the exam). For section 3, 2009 is recent enough - not ALL of your examples have to be recent.

Comb the paper, particularly the sections on politics. Look for examples of Tony Abbott bullshitting his way through things. Watch the language he uses.
