this maybe just me but is it the people who are really strong mathematical/scienced based people ie you guys and my physics, methods, spec teacher people find probability difficult.
but the weakesed people in my class and my self (more humanities based) don't ?? and receive better marks ?

In year 11 I'd say the combinatorics and permutations stuff.
In year 12 I'm leaning more to the probability stuff, well it wasn't that probability in itself was hard, just more picking out which area of probability to apply for worded questions, and working out when you have to use a different area for different stems of the question.

With that being said, I enjoyed the Calculus area most, but some others found that hardest. Probability annoyed me and thats probably why I found it hardest. For you, you may be different, you won't know till you try it :)

not really a topic, but I dislike that the way we get marked on our way of solving a question. An exam where only aswers count would be better.

sketching trig graphs
Those annoying application calculus questions (ones with geometry)
A bit of probability every now and then.

They try to make it equal, so algebra/graphs and calculus/applications and prob.

Difficulty is in the eye of the beholder, so whatever you find most difficult, you find most difficult, it will probably vary from person to person.

I think you missed the point of the OP's question somewhat... :P

The top three most annoying methods topics (for me) are:
1. Matrices --- used in transformations and in probability
2. Domain and range --- composite functions are the worst, followed by inverse
3. Absolute value function --- especially when only part of the question has it

My favourite topic is probably circular functions, especially solving trigonometric equations. The questions are so quick to solve and they are the easiest 3-4 marks you will find on the exam.
I also love calculus, I just hate having to apply it to tech-assist scenarios.
