My parents don't like me hanging out with people they don't know personally, so I lied and told them that I was going to see my drug dealer so that they'd be cool with it :).

My parents were like, "what the hell, he never goes out".. Haha

I told them that it was a meet for wannabe or aspiring ridiculously smart people (ie. Me) to speak to the ridiculously smart people of today and that got me the okay.
