Membrane cell question help

The answer for a question says in a membrane cell that produces potassium hydroxide, an electrode is carbon and one is made of steel mesh.  Can I use two carbon electrodes?

I think the separator between the cells is made of steel mesh. Afaik, you should be able to use two carbon electrodes.
