UNIT 2 QUESTIONs

Hi,
Im doing my notes for my unit 2 bio exam and I was comparing them to someone elses from nature of bio, and do I need to know about the hormones such as glibberens and auxin

also for our end of year exam we use stav exams!

Worth learning as you'll do them in Unit 3.

why are poisonous animals often brightly coloured so that they are easily seen ??

think its to alert predators that theyre poisonous so they wont be eaten.
and thats why other animals mimic them even tho they mightnt be poisionous

Yeah, I think Bhootnike is right. Its termed aposematic and the bright coloration is primary defence

ok another couple of questions

what are four variableed that affect the the size of an open population?

and In a closd population with 0 population growth, how do birth and death rates compare ??
