Pretty unethical, especially from the other students. I suppose she's enabling cheating and thus cheating herself, thus unethical. Although, I can't help but admire her operation.
It reminds me of one of my Mum's good friends, (who she sees twice a year.)
My Mum works as an Alcohol and Other Drugs social worker and originally met this guy in a detox. He's a chronic alcoholic. I spoke to him once when I was 15 and he fucking blew my mind with how smart he was [or sounded, anyway.] -> This guy does the same thing as Mary but he charges depending on the grade. Eg, if someone wants an HD, he'll charge xyz amount, but if they want a D, xy amount etc. to fund his addiction.

I don't know. As the article mentions, international students are often exploited working for cash below minimum wage, and also can't work more than 10hrs a week on their visa (unless that's changed now?) I can see why this sort of thing would happen as a result.
