Well I feel really confident about my exam.
I started with Part 2, knocked over the double analysis in 4 pages in about 35 minutes, then did the speech in 25 which was 2 pages.
Part 1 essay of Minimum of Two was a good topic. I've read and planned numerous topics like it before.
Part 2 essay of I'm Not Scared was complete shit and deserves to die. But I think I did it okay. It will be my worst section though.
Overall I'm pretty happy with the exam. The issues section was generous, as the pieces were nice, and the inclusion of speech and letter to the editor was very nice of mister VCAA.
Really? Minimum part 1 was nice? What'd you write for it, I'm curious to know?
From memory (and considering I'm quite braindead at the moment isn't too good), my split was something like:
Characters without connections are shown to suffer, as they cannot find their identity (drawing upon T.W.W.D.A.W.F.D, and N.M.C)
Characters with connections they understand are able to develop their identity and benefit (Jerra in gravity, Rachel in T.S.O, Queenie in Laps)
Characters with connections who don't understand them get a false sense of identity, and suffer as a consequence (Madigan from M.o.T)
