hmm our examiners were really nice compared to what you guys have mentioned.

i think they gave  us extra time, cos we started at 9:02 but we finished around 12:21/22

We started like 9.25 and finished at 12.40. I continued checking over my stuff till like 12.45, really pissed off the watchers. Especially since I hadn't written any of the necessary things on my script booklet too, student number etc.

Well well done to everyone,

I did Hamlet PT1 and The Quiet American PT2 and was pretty happy with the questions provided, was a bit worried Hamlet PT1 might be about women in the play, if it was I was screwed.

I wrote 4 pages for Hamlet and 3 1/2 for TQA but I have small writing.  I kind of winged it on the Analaysis and bullshitted on it, the speech was a bit tricky also.. ah well.

I'm hoping 16/20 for both text 6/7 for speech and probably 5 for analysis.

Lolz :P
I'm intelligent in everything except for English :(
If I get a bad score in English but a really good score in everything else, is it still possible to get an ENTER above 87?

To get an ENTER of 87 you need an aggregate of about 156... if you got a 28 in English (the state average) then you would need your other three study scores to be each 43. So yeah, it's possible. :)

I actually found the analysis really easy, pity i didn't read the POV properly though! The texts were okay I did Part 1 LBW and Part 2 a man for all

Glad it's over but disappointed at my performance.
I did Hamlet Part 1 and TQA Part 2.

The questions weren't particularly difficult but the TQA part 2 had me stumped for a while. 3.5 pages

Hamlet was good and the topic I felt was interesting. 4.5 pages

Analysis 2.5 pages
Opinion 1.5 pages

Hoping for the best, expecting the worst hehe.

i think the language analysis was so stupid. they made it ridiculously easy, there were persuasive devices galore! Usually vcaa makes it hard but this year was a joke.

i planned to do that, but my exam supervisers were too experienced, just after writing time begun, they forced me to write down the student numbers, and one watcher came right next to my table to make sure i filled everything in all 3 booklets, those tedious old fools!!

In terms of the persuasive piece, I'm abit worried as to whether I actually gave what they were asking for.

I did the letter to the editor and was an adolescent psychologist.
I claimed that current overparenting is ever prevalent and its tendencies will be to the detriment of children.

My body paragraphs consisted of:
*It disenables kids from experiencing the world and delays their ability to confront challenges which appear at every turn of their lives.
*It leads to a lack of responsibility
*It could lead to problems such anti social behaviours and medical conditions such a social anxiety.
I then concluded that governments should implement training programs for parents to endow them with the knowledge to best deal with children in today's modern age.

Is that answering the question?? I really hope so lol

hi all

part 1 was a bit dodgy for me, have never been a fantastic writer on those
part 2 was a much more structured question, i rather enjoyed it

as for the writing task, their was so much to write on and so little time
i still managed to waffle 4 pages for it, but had a massive hand cramp after

as for the letter to the editor; it is confusing as to what persona we were meant to write as
it states "expressing your view on wether we are overprotected"

i took the "we" as us as teenagers, or maybe i was wrong
who really knows

i just want a 25 that's all
