Am I allowed to do this to my pen for the english exam?

I'm planning to wrap a thin layer of bandage around the finger grip of my pen, to avoid hurting my fingers when I write. I do not know the examiners will actually care to that kind of detail. Besides I'm bringing the a few pens,  same design without the modification, in case they confiscate it.

Should be fine. Just make sure it is tightly wrapped so examiners don't think you are trying to hide notes under it. If there are no notes or anything the worst thing that could happen is them just taking the pen off of you during the exam in which case you just grab another. Many pens come with rubber padding though so they really shouldn't be bothered with your custom job.

lol nothing will happen you'll be fine - they'll be more skeptical if you actually point it out to them and say "no."

people put soft-grips on their pens, particularly in primary school. why can't you?
