I got C for question 7 (networks)

I got D for 7 but a friend explained to me why it's C. The capacity of line 2 is 350. The little section in the middle where there is a 50 is not counted as the cut through the 110 and 240 prevent anything from flowing through it already. 

Unless anyone can dispute that it should be C.

The answer for 9 of Core is B isn't it? D shows the smoothed values of september and october as being 7 and 7, when it's 5 and 5.
